User Access Roles are an important part of the Verifi3D workflow. They reflect the interaction between different types of users within project-based groups, which may also include external parties. In Verifi3D, there are 4 different types of user roles as highlighted in the image below;
A Company Admin oversees the company and all projects and users in it.
They can add and remove users, change their role (e.g. make a basic user a Project Admin) and give and remove access to projects. They can work on models and model sets, create and share templates across projects (filters, filter sets, rules, rule sets).
There is one Company Admin per company, and they can modify company information.
A Project Admin can create projects and oversee the work on the projects they have created.
They can work on models and model sets, add and remove users, as well as create and share templates (filters, filter sets, rules, rule sets) across the projects they have created.
There is one Project Admin per project.
They cannot modify or change company information, add users to a company or modify projects they have not created.
A General User can work on models and model sets within projects they have been given access to by a Company or Project Admin.
They can only create templates (filters, filter sets, rules, rule sets).
They cannot modify or change project, company, or user information.
An external user is a user from other companies who are invited by a Company or Project Admin to work on a project. Within projects they have been given access to, they have the same rights as General Users.
